Canned on 10/3/18
Pours a hazy, glossy dark gold with orange hues and capped with a finger and a half of fluffy white head; good retention and consistent lacing walling and spattered around the glass.
Aromas of raw pineapple rind, mango peel, and big bursts of floral hops; mostly smooth, but assertive almost to a fault at times, as it loses nuance and becomes a bit unfocused.
Taste of raw herbaceousness (new to the usual Triple Crossing profile I'm used to, I have to say) balancing a semi-aggressive bitterness which which in turn actually enhances the brighter tropical notes; just very green throughout, even as floral notes and an ascending hop sweetness lead to fruity cream on the finish.
Mouthfeel is juicy throughout with green hops adding an underlying grit; medium body and lighter carbonation; finishes bright and juicy with a slight dryness.
Really liking the greener notes at the forefront here, especially as they evolve and sweeter tones develop; certainly doesn’t hurt that it stays bright and juicy in all the notes throughout.

Pours an opaque orange with a half inch white head that is well retained, settles to a thin layer and leaves a good amount of lacing. Smell is rather mild with citrus and tropical fruit elements. Tastes of orange, orange peel, apricot, under ripe peach, some lactose sweetness and earthy notes. Medium bodied and carbonated, minimal bitterness, very slightly dry finish.
