Our pale take on the seasonally rotating Czech Lager continues with Czech Pale, and this time, it’s been re-imagined as a 10P. In all the mystique of the astoundingly cool Czech beer culture, nearly every beer on a menu has its starting gravity listed beside it, let alone the fact that some breweries will just name the beer “10P”.
Regardless, we brewed this one with floor malted Raven Czech Pilsner via double decoction, hopped with Czech Saaz, and finally fermented with the most heralded of Czech Lager strains. After a lengthy conditioning period, the smaller starting gravity beer showcases a drier, leaner, bready malt, fermentation derived raspberry, with a big floral hop character and cleansing bitterness.
While the differences between our just released Bohem, a triple decocted 12P lager, and this beer might be subtle, it’s that level of appreciation for what these beers are and what they’re supposed to be that makes them so damn special.

Tastes a lot like a really well made Helles. Had on tap at the Triple Crossing Fulton Brewery.

Canned 4/26/23
I'm not going to get all verbose, but this is pretty much a perfect warm weather beer. I could (but won't) drink the entire six pack. Also, my can says 4% ABV, for whatever that's worth.

Pours a hazy straw color with a slight head and lacing
Aroma has malt, hop and lemongrass hints
The taste follows the nose with crisp sweet malt, spicy hop and lemongrass flavors
A light bodied very well carbonated beer
A great refreshing Pilsner

Poured from a crowler into a Pilsner glass. Was surprised it was so cloudy. Smell was also unexpected. Awesome taste. The only downside is I bought just one crowler.

Slow pour at Triple Crossing Brewing in Richmond, VA.
This one pours a clear light straw yellow, with a big fluffy white head, and cool concentric rings of lacing down the glass.
This smells like fresh cut grass, mineral water, honey, and baked bread.
This is another delicious lager from Triple Crossing. There's a kiss of sweetness, and a wonderfully creamy flavor to it, along with a tightly crisp malt backbone, and a perfect helping of bitter grassy hops.
This is light bodied, slightly creamy, and really drinkable. I could drink this all day.
This is a beautiful beer - no flaws, just dope lager.
