Spinnakers Fresh Hopped ISL 650mL bomber poured into a pint, at 4.5%
Picked up due to the odd nature of the beer ISL. Lets see.
L: Very lager-ish, maybe a wee bit darker, no head at all although I poured like a little bitch for some reason. No lacing.
S: A touch of sour, no malty smell, no floral notes. Very bland smell
T: The big one. Hmmm Hops are not forward and the malt is very unnoticeable. It has a bit of ruggedness that an IPA would carry, but mostly lager tasting. interesting. Aftertaste of a Bud or Canadian.
F: Light, very smooth and thin. Drinkability medium to high
OV: Very meh. Picked up due to its uniqueness but didn't stand out the way I would of wanted too. A good beer to give someone who wants to try their first craft beer, as it wont scare them off.
