Appearance. Pours a clear deep amber with a bit of pink and a thin white head.

Smell. Sweet caramel malts, fruity belgian yeast and a little bit of cherry.

Taste. Sweet light malts, some fruity belgian yeast and just a little cherry. Tastes a lot like Das Razz but with cherry, and in a lesser way.

Mouthfeel. Medium+ body, slightly sticky with low+ carbonation.

Ovberall. This shouldn't be classified as a lambic. Like das razz, a belgian pale I would think. Anyways, a bit sweet for me.

Fizzy carboantion. Very artificial cherry.
I agree its a soft drink. The least liked of the three fruit beers. Too sweet and sugary. Bottle from the brewpub. I am getting little yeast here. The drinkability is ranked a a fruity soft drink.Reddish colour.

A left-over, I guess of a limited run done by Spinnakers. I've seen this at the brew-pub with a different label, but mine label is the release for Victoria's annual Erotica Fesitval of Film and Arts. As such, there is very little info on the label about the beer itself.

Dark, cloudy red colour with a cola like head: it is fizzy and short lasting. Smell is mostly of overripe, near rotting cherries and sugary malt.

Sour cherries dominate the taste and drown out most malt and hop profiles. Not much else in there. Very thick, too...almost like a cough syrup. Weak malt backing and hop aftertaste.

Despite the thick flavour, this is bubbly on the tongue. Not overcarbonated, but the odd combination, sour taste and high ABV limit this beers drinkability. Decent, but nothing I'll go out of my for.
