Appearance. Pours a lightly hazy amber with a little pink and a 1/2 finger of white head.
Smell. Sweet malts, some spicy belgian yeast and a little raspberry.
Taste. Sweet raspberries, light malts and a little belgian yeast. Fairly sweet and just a tiny bit tangy from the fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium body, just below medium carbonation.
Overall. Easy drinking belgian. Nothing too complex and tastes good. A good beer for spring.

Courtesy of the brewmaster, we drank this limited release back home in their honour. Almost as good as their aged current, this razz was malted down, with sourness just about there. Pours lots of lace down the glass, moderate head on reddish-yellow. It works.SOmewhat drying aftertaste.

Bottle-only limited edition summer beer from Spinnakers. I wanted to call this a lambic, but no spontaneous fermentation.
Dark orange-pink in colour; not very raspberry like. Strong ordour of raspberry, almost like the rasbperry juice I used to have as a kid.
Little bit of brown sugar character from the malts. Not much else.
Sour raspberrys and blackstrap molasses are the two flavours I really pick up. But mostly sour raspberries. This isn't at all bad, but it could stand to be a bit sweeter than it is. You can't detect the alcohol in the taste, but you somehow know its there.
I know this a summer beer, and even though the taste and body are good, I find myself struggling through this. It can come off as a bit cloying and the high ABV prevents me from seeing this as a true hot weather creation.
