Best iteration of this imperial milk stout, an improvement on the original. Bitterness of the coffee balances the sweetness of the base stout well. Body is black with a dark tan head, spotty lace left behind. Aroma of rich coffee, roasty with some bitter chocolate in the background. Taste is also roasty and coffee forward,some dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall it's pretty tasty, and a repeat buy for me. All the other versions seemed to need some tweaking, maybe the coffee just covered up the overt sweetness of the base milk stout, which is a little much on it's own.
