Draft pint at Golden Crust, quick review from written notes.
Hazy, nearly opaque orange, compact layer of creamy white surface foam, noticeable delicate lacing. Fruity yeast esters in the aroma, pear and orange, light clove. Lightly tart fruit flavors of pear and citrus first and foremost, with a minor undercurrent of clove and pepper that isn’t distracting. Very clean and well made, not a bad start from these newcomers, it made a solid first impression.
