A Scotch ale barrel aged in Four Roses barrels. Served on tap at the brewery for the release party Sept. 19.
A good deal of sweetness from the barrel aging is something I found pleasurable, like a lighter version of nearby Country Boy Brewing's Papaw's Red. Tasted a bit boozier than the listed 8.6%, more like a nice bourbon cocktail.
