Pours a crystal clear golden yellow with a thick cloud of white head that holds it's shape remarkably well.
Smell is pungently citrus peel and herbal.
Taste has lots of grapefruit/pomelo, yellow stone fruits, and a mild biscuitiness. Very nicely balanced and free from the overbearing maltiness that is the common scourge of the style.
Mouthfeel is very crisp and light. Maybe should be rated lower for the style but I actually find it quite refreshing. Such an easy drinking dipa.
Overall this is one of my favorite new beers, big hop flavor, great body, nice aroma, and exceptionally easy to drink. Check this one out if you're in louisville and like hops.
