750 ml bottle, bottle #202 of 210, bottled on 3/29/15. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a reddish/burnt orange color with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells mostly like bourbon, vanilla, and oak, along with some toffee and rye/dark breadiness. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but I think the rye is more noticeable in the taste. All the flavors seem to mesh well together. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's coating and a bit sticky with a good amount of carbonation. For a brewery that's been around for a little more than a year, Great Flood has done quite a fine job with their barrel aged beers. I certainly liked this one! $14 a bottle purchased at the brewery.
