Golden in color. Nose isn’t very hoppy, but the taste hits a home run. At first there is a bready taste, but then the bitterness kicks in and has a great follow through.

335 ML can
Served in a tulip glass
This beer pours copper in color with amber highlights. It has a slight haze. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves a nice lacing ring.
It has a bold malt presence. It get toasted caramel along with some pine.
The malt is up to the challenge of facing of with the hops. It starts out with toffee and caramel and finishes with bitter hops.
Medium mouthfeel
This is an old school IPA with balance rather than hop forward. I never cared for the old school IPA and am reluctant to drink them. So you might say that I am biased against this beer.

Appearance: Deep amber, with a massive off-white head and huge spidery lace everywhere.
Aroma: Tropical and citrus hops, with an almost sweet hint. Very nice.
Taste: Bitter and pungent hops, with plenty of malts. Lots of floral taste in here, too. Finishes clean and dry. This seems to be more a “classic” American IPA, as opposed to the fruity new-schoolers. Solid, but not one I’d prefer to revisit.

Smooth IPA, even for 7% as listed on the can. Heavier malt presence, and it shows in the dark copper pour. Not overly hoppy, but the balance is just right. Canned from Total in Louisville.
