I love rye IPA's; that slightly biting malt really jives with my tastebuds. Unfortunately, this beer was not what I want in a rye IPA. While it has some nice qualities, such as the straw yellow color and the unexpectedly dank aroma, the taste and body left much to be desired. I couldn't detect the rye that I love so much and the body fell flat and thin.
