A: Pours a straw yellow color with a fingers worth of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: A bit of wheat and tartness up front with a general fruitiness in the background. Not much under that
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the tartness and a wheat malt base that goes into a vague fruitiness and mineral notes. Finishes with lingering wheat notes
M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A bit of a pucker from the lactic notes
O: A middle of the line Berliner that has a nice burst of tartness to start but nothing to really back that up. Easy enough to drink. A nice part of the summer pack, but not sure I'd grab for a sixer all too quickly

Appearance: golden yellow in color with a two finger head.
Smell: tart lemons and some grass comes through.
Taste: wheat base with grass, tart lemons, and a tangy sourness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp throughout with a very dry finish.
Overall: a slow drinking beer as the sourness slows you down a bit.

12 oz bottle
Clear pale yellow, white head. No lacing. Mild sour fruity aroma. Tart flavor, lights bodied, refreshing. Slightly puckering, but not so much that it hurts the drinkability.

12 oz bottle poured into a Demented snifter.
Pours pale yellow with a half finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Aroma has a sour berry tartness, with a kiss of sweet honey.
Flavor is quite sour. Initially there is a rush of sourness with a hint of wheat malt. Finishes very dry without any lingering flavors. After the first few sips, this starts to drink really nicely. Very refreshing for a hot day. This is actually quite pleasant to drink as long as you like sours.

DATE: June 30, 2016... OCCASION: Seeking refreshment after a hard-working week at camp... GLASSWARE: Schneider Edel-Weisse... pours a light golden, clear body with stray effervescence... head is off-white, swiftly thinning and disappearing to nothing more than a ring... light, fruity spritz akin to perfume suggests peach, strawberry and honey... dry, tart, and lively at the teeth, while the finish lingers with an equally sour kick... apple, strawberry, and pear provide a tart, punchy flavor profile that refreshes with smoothness... Brettynamyces add some funk with lemon zest and slight malts...easily drinkable, relaxing its tartness only slightly.... an appropriate summer brew with enough body to make for a good drinking experience.... Victory continues to showcase a winning portfolio...
