Pours a 1-finger white head that slowly fades leaving some lace. Hazy light amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Citrus hop nose and flavor is almost grapefruit with some malty sweetness. Best by Sep 2018, still tastes fresh. $2.75 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Pours a hazy orange straw color. modest head poor retention but light lacing.
Aromas highlight a nice combination of citrus, tropical and stone fruit; apricot, mango, peach, banana, papaya, and citrus pith. The aroma of caramel malt contributes with sweetness.
The taste opens sweet and fruity but with a semi dry palate that aids drinkability. Flavors of mango and papaya add juiciness, while pithy citrus fruits add brightness. There is a firm caramel malt flavored backbone, however, the brightness of the citrus hops and resiny quality of the earthy hops soon take center stage. A developing bitterness is refreshing, while the piny hops flavors add sharpness.
Medium to full bodied, crisp, and moderately carbonated. A bitter and resiny finish leaves one wanting more.
Solid IPA all around.

Brewed with Pilsner, Wheat, Oats, Light Caramel malts. Description also says biscuit malt. Hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Azacca
ABV: 8.3%
Pours out to a hazy medium golden, forming a nice creamy bone white head with very good retention and nice lace. The aroma is of cat urine, grapefruit and a funky yeast autolysis that I sometimes get in home brews, akin to cat pee, but not the hop derived character. The mouth feel is medium bodied, finishing drier than most and feeling a bit thinner in the mouth then most imperial IPAs. Carbonation is moderate, about 2.5 carbs. The taste is fairly unilateral. The hops are there but they are not juicy, they are more dank and grassy and there is problematic yeast autolysis throughout the beer into the ruddy finish. The bitterness is medium firm and is not very well-balanced by the lack of malt complexity.
I normally like a lot of what victory does but this one is a dud. 20 years ago, this would've been over the top but especially when compared to today's ipas, it just doesn't hold up. Not recommended and I definitely won't buy it again

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a slightly hazy orange abbey with a thick white head.
Aroma is molasses malty sweet with an orangy sweet note at the end.
Taste is a blend of sweet malt and a thick orange candy.
Delicious.
