Born into a family of mystical monkeys, this light-hearted sibling brings a twisted spin to the bunch. Hearing about the flavorful excitement that the overgrown jungle had to offer, he set out to explore. It was a sensory overload, and he had to try it all. His favorite – the mango. Introducing hints of his favorite fruit to the same imported malts and Belgian yeast favored by the family, this magical ale results in big flavor refreshment that only the Monkey can deliver.

An attractive hazy blonde (ale). Decent head production and OK retention. Body is a gold-struck lemon color.

Sweet and yeasty nose, with an emphasis on esters - surely complemented by the mango, which isn't strong enough to stand out as an additive. Floral, with lesser notes of clove.

Mango is much stronger on the palate, which is sweet and slightly thick, almost syrupy, but pretty tasty and refreshing. A bit too sweet and syrupy, as it borders on cloying. Very low bitterness.

There needs to be something to balance out the intensity of the mango sweetness: a dash of citrus, a dry hop, something. Still, it's pretty tasty, and while I won't revisit it, neither would I turn it down if offered. A good choice for Summer.

Clear, golden. A mix of Belgian yeasts, mango, and malt in the aroma. To much mango sweetness in taste. Light sourness cannot fully compensate for the overall candy-like sweetness. Still drinkable.

On tap in a shaker pint.

Slightly hazy gold with a half finger fine white head that quickly reduces to partial ring and small islands.
Clove Belgian yeast aroma, mango.
Mango, lemon, clove flavors.
Sweet, medium bodied, light carbonation.
The combination works for me. A good hot weather beer.

Pours pale yellow with a 1/2 inch white head, which fades to a wisp. light lacing. Slight haze.

Aroma of Belgian yeast, mango, lemon, spice.

Taste follows nose: Belgian yeast, mango, lemon, spice. A bit tart.

Medium bodied, light carbonation. Spicy, semisweet finish.

Pretty good!

Put a couple of 12 oz. cans into a clear glass liter mug to observe. The liquid is a hazy light amber. Almost no head atop, nor glass lacing. Belgian yeast dominates the smell, in fact, it's the only smell. The mango does make a taste appearance as a nice compliment to the yeastiness. It makes the overall taste nicely complex, albeit sweeter. There's also a malty base helping out with the body. But, surviving the blast of Belgian yeast ends up being insurmountable for the other taste contributors.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of mango, little else. Taste is yeast, mango, somewhat sour, some spices are present. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

This is just not a good beer. Taste is cloyingly sweet mango with typical clove, banana flavor. No carbonation and thick feel just reinforces how sickly sweet it is. Could barely finish the can

This beer was delicious! The aroma carried the tropical fruit odor of mango, while the flavor fulfilled this promise in a great balance between the estery-yeasts of Belgian ale and the sweet fruitiness of mango.

Gorgeous-looking hazy Belgian blonde ale. Yeasty and fruity on the nose. Initially tastes like a delicious juicy blonde Belgian ale but over time the sweetness overwhelms. The mango is not apparent but more conspicuous notes of clove. Overall a good beer for a warm day but the sweetness needs to be toned down a couple notches.
