On tap at Victory on 6/26/09.
A - Very pale, clear yellow/straw-colored body with lots of carbonation bubbles and a thin white head that retained well but deposited only a sparse amount of lacing on the glass.
S - Subtle nose with a bit of toasted grains, scant amount of citrusy hops and a mild white grape sweetness.
T - Sweet with light grassy hops and subtle fruity notes reminiscent of lemons and oranges. Finishes with a grainy malt character and a slight white table wine quality.
M - Smooth, softly carbonated mouthfeel with moderate bitterness that lingers for a while on the palate.
D - Classic German style pils with plenty of hop character. Not overly crisp, but quite drinkable nonetheless.
