A - Pitch black pour with light tan lacing.
S - Chocolate, chocolate char, raspberry, roasted chocolate aroma.
T - Chocolate roast, light char, raspberry, and a long lingering roasty bitterness. Raspberry sweetness surfaces but gets beat down by the chocolate bitterness. Nice lingering chocolate char with a little bit of raspberry poking through. As the beer warms, the raspberry gets a little more perfume-like and artificial.
M - Thick body with some thinness around the edges.
O - This is a nice twist on a classic Victory beer.
