A; crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a thin tight collar; very little lacing;
S: fresh grapefruit;
T: the blood orange with lime juice really gave off a tequila vibe; grapefruit is balanced nicely with the blood orange and lime juice; lime is strongest in the aftertaste; virtually no bitterness;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: surprisingly accurate flavor profile;

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grapefruit, oranges. Taste follows the aroma, limes are present as well. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Pours a dirty straw color with a finger of head. The nose has the faint essence of citrus. The grapefruit notes come on stronger and more distinct in the flavor profile.

To me this is more of a juice than a beer. Maybe this one will work for me on a really hot day but i struggled to get this one down, not a beer for me.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Bottled in late March, so about 6 weeks old.
Pale golden yellow body. White head gradually fizzles away, a few specks of lacing. Aroma is mildly citrus and oddly floral. On tasting, I do get grapefruit, blood orange and lime, but the combination doesn't agree with this palate. Mouth is medium, finish comes off as artificial.
Overall, not for me and unlikely to be revisited.

12 ounce bottle - $2.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a clear, golden body with a white foam cap.
Smell: Sweetish, lightly tart-scented citrusy nose of added fruit flavorings overlaying a modest malt base.
Taste: A little light graininess and bready component. Houses a small, subtle while not quite tequila hint, there is something there, possibly a derived hint from the caramel coloring additive. Mandarin orange, grapefruit flavorings bring about some citrusy, sourish tartness. Lightly bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Follows a time-honored tradition of light-leaning summertime blonde, golden and wheat ales dosed with a wide range of artificial faux flavors. This year, it's the revived Paloma cocktail, maybe next year we'll see cocktail-inspired beers based on the vibrant, trendy return of the Brandy Alexander.

This is a grapefruit soda. I happen to love grapefruit. So this rates high for me. Tastes like a soda - 7 up, definitely Squirt. Light, fruity scent, clear amber color. Pours with a nice head that lasts a little bit. Looks like a beer but tastes like soda. Perfect on a hot summer day. Refreshing.
