Clear orange covered with a bubbly cap. Orange, tea, peach, pineapple, pulpy citrus...fairly mellow aroma overall with some bread underneath. Deep, juicy citrus flavor upfront with a toasted malt and black tea base. Some tropical fruit and light pine resin. Sweet in the finish, but solidly bitter. Body is more than medium and has a nice creaminess. A little heavy after awhile, but a solid, not so in-your-face DIPA, full of fruity flavor and balance.

Smells of weed and dank hops and maybe some flowers and overripe fruit. Pretty funky!
Taste is better--dank hops, floral note, sweet fruit.
Really nice mouthfeel, great carb and booze isn't noticeable.
Smell is a little odd on this, definitely not what I expected from a citra single hop, good though.

16oz Growler from Beverage World. Served at around 40-45F.
Pours clear amber with a two finger white head that leaves nice drippy lacing and recedes to a small foamy cap.
Aroma is all Citra, like smelling whole leaf Citra hops. Tropical fruits, big time citrus, bread and some caramel malt underneath. Very good strength.
Flavor is citrusy hops, grapefruit rind, tropical fruits, resinous hops, bready malt, some caramel sweetness to balance the good bitterness. Alcohol is there but rather quiet for a 9% ABV brew.
Mouthfeel is medium-plus bodied, creamy, chewy, good carbonation.
Had the Philly Beer Week version of Ranch a while back and liked it a lot, this Citra one is even better. Literally like smelling whole cone Citra hops. Awesome stuff!
