Victory Brewing : Ranch Double IPA (Centennial)

LOOK: Clear copper colored brew, with white foam and just a little spotty lacework decorating the pint glass.

SMELL: Resinous hops, sweet herbal candies and hop flowers. A very earthy, leafy nose with some malt sweetness backing it up.

TASTE: Resinous herbal flavor, some tasters use the word "dank" to describe the pungency of the whole cone hop flowers used in the brewing process. A bit of dirty grapefruit, earthy grass, and more or less weedy. This beer should be called "hop resin".

FEEL: For the strength, this beer is surprisingly medium bodied. Medium carbonation with a solid, fresh hop bite.

OVERALL: A well made beer showing off the home grown flavor or the centennial hop. Don't pass on this...
