a well made wheat beer with raspberries, pretty soft rose pink in color with a fizzy soda-like head from the tap and a bright aroma of fresh raspberries, very natural and very forward, with an almost wit type yeast in the background and the dry earthy wheat, simple and summery for sure, a real easy drinker too, nice in warm weather and still tasting enough like beer to hold my attention. the wheat base is sturdy in that this has some flavor from the grain as well as some body, but it doesnt make this conventionally malty or heavy, instead it just supports and extends the fresh raspberries really nicely, they arent just in the finish but all the way through, and they are beautifully tangy and sweet and ripe in here, juicy and delicious. the lightly estery thing happening is a little weird, and it doesnt warm up very well as a result as that element becomes more and more obvious, but this is not a beer to drink slowly, at least for me, and i have no problem with the pint getting very warm, this is a summer slammer with a very natural raspberry profile, wide appeal brew, well done.

I got this from my old neighbor....i think....was in the fridge for a while and probably would be better on a summer day as opposes to sub zero winter day. It poured a clear pinkish hued copper with no head and no lace. The scent had raspberry undertones. The taste was raspberry crystal lite. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.
