One things for sure, it's a pretty beer. As pretty as my eyes, so I'm told. Anyhoo, it pours a deep berry reddish purple with an airy pink and white foam. It recedes leaving small patches just on the surface.
The aroma bursts with tart wild berries, but as it warms, notes of cinnamon and earth come out.
The flavor is intense of tart blackberry which clings on until the sweet wheat malt comes to light.
A bubbly feel and dry finish gives this tart but balanced brew a lot of life, and makes it extremely easy to consume.
This was a real treat. Not as sour as some Berliners, and not as fruity as many others. A nice blend of the two. Cheers, and thanks Joe!

Had on tap 9-14-15.
Look: Purple and murky with a white head. Really nice looking brew.
Smell: Bready, some fruit, and sourness (if that's something you can even smell).
Taste: Tart and wheaty. The blackberries come through really well and are not dominating.
Feel: Thin and well carbonated. No alcohol present.
Overall: A great summer beer and one of the better Berliners I have had. Would definitely recommend this one to others.
