Taste: tangy, sweet, kettle sour, fruit, crisp, big Mango and some pineapple notes. Semi sour cider, fruit nose. Gold, crystal clear, with white head and broken lattice. Medium body. 3 IBUs

Tasted in a snifter from draught at Firkin on July 20, 2018. Alluringly tart and fruity, this sour wheat beer is loaded with Mango enhancing it’s already magnetic seductiveness. Enchantingly light in body and effervescent, we sour this German-style Berliner Weisse with lactobacillus in the kettle before adding mounds of our favorite royal fruit. Refreshing and easy drinking.

12 oz can. Pours a golden yellow color from the bottle with aromas of light tart mangoes, light sourness, and some wheat. Flavors were light tart mangoes, and wheat, light musk and sweetness as well, decent overall.

Pours a light golden color with a thick fizzy white head that dissipate slowly. However once it dissipates there is no lacing or residual head.
Smell is very perfume-y like baby soap. Has notes of sweet fruit, mango and flowers. Very artificial smelling to my nose.
Taste follows the nose with that strong perfume-y floral baby soap like character coming through in the flavor. This beer is very mango forward - so forward its almost too much. Tastes like canned sweet mango puree dumped into the beer. The berliner base does hit all the right notes and still shines through even with the mango. Mild tartness on the back end. Pretty sweet which prevents the finish from being really dry.
Feel is a bit heavy for the style. Medium carbonation. Not overly dry on the finish.
Overall the addition of the mango is intriguing, but it just comes across artificial and heavy handed. I also can't get past the baby wash smell/flavor. That is what makes this taste more artificial than it might otherwise.
