July 7th, 2015 - The previous beer - the wit - was on an off day. The White IPA is a marginal improvement. Starting with the body, it's a gorgeous amber colored brew with a nice clarity that plays off the light. The smell is extremely sweet, and rich with pine resin and fresh red apple. But those flavors transform into a flavor with a very odd and curious hop profile. It begins fresh and piney with a bold twang of grapefruit and potpourri which continues to become even more powerfully floral and desiccated.
