Good brown ale. A style I like. Tastes like the old old cottonwood lowdown brown from the original cottonwood in Boone. Darker and a little more bitter than most browns. I like it

Lighter bodied than many browns such as Bells. Similar to Loneriders Sweet Josie, but with a dryer finish.

Brown color, rising bubbles, head retention. Served in a snifter glass. Nutty aroma. Nutty, malty taste, cedar notes. Foamy & carbonated. Nice finish.

Pours a russet brown with half finger lighter beige head that is gone pretty quickly.Light caramel in the nose is about all I get, faint nuttiness as it warms more.Caramel and brown sugar on the palate with a bit of earthiness and roast in the finish but a thinner almost watery feel takes away from the flavor profile a bit.Eh an easy going brown to have before easter dinner, nothing to seek out.

I really like this Brown ale. It is not pretentious and had a very clean finish with little to no aftertaste

Licorice, chocolate, Mexican vanilla. Decent but not a session brown.
