Poured from 16oz can. Less intense whiskey notes than I expected, which is a good thing for me. This iteration is 9.2% ABV. The bourbon, chocolate, and tobacco are less obvious than coffee hints. I can easily imagine sipping along side some seriously dark chocolate. This is my first Midnight Brue, so I am experiencing it all by itself.
For me, this is a bba imperial stout I will buy again. It is more interesting than BCBS (tried this year's, too much bourbon flavor) or Founder's flagship KBS.
