Sour, somewhat of a cough syrup flavor. I wonder if it's where they get their barrels from?

Taste like straight up wine upfront, then a strong smokiness comes forward.
Does not taste boozy at all for the 9.5abv.
Delicious. This is my first taste of this brewery. Purchased at Sam’s Quik Shop in Durham, NC in single 500ml bottle.
Would recommend to any lover of good beer (or good wine, for that matter).
