Poured a creamy white head. The liquid is a moderatly hazy rose color.
Smells like a mix of marashino cherries, lime, horse blanket. Some tropical hop notes seem to hang in the background.
Taste is lime, then tart cherries. A light funk note. Quite sour. A bit of a tanin quality to it. His the faintest hint of sweetness. It finishes dry, but also makes the mouth water. Aftertaste has some crackers or whitebread notes.
The mouthfeel is just north of lightly bodied. The carbonation is light. It makes this beer a pretty easy drinker, although I would prefer it with slightly heavier body and carbonation. Did not feel any alcohol warmth.
Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. I chose this specifically because I am not a fan of Cherry-Lime flavor combos. This uses that combonation effectivly enough to lower my bias and enjoy this beer. This is, I believe, the first Brueprint beer that I have had, and I would love to give their other beers a shot.
