Pours very dark, nearly impervious to light. Moderate mocha head fades fairly quickly, leaving a little lacing. Phenomenal aroma - loads of chocolate fudge, dark fruits, dark brown sugar, ample bourbon barrel. So good! Flavor is very similar to BCBS: lots of chocolate, pretty sweet but not cloying, some figs, chocolate covered cherries, which present as tart cherry on the finish. Very tasty. Medium bodied, could be a little fuller considering the ABV, which is hidden very well at 13%. Carbonation is pretty good. Overall an exceptional BA imperial stout, and such a nice surprise to stumble upon this brewery and find this readily available on tap. Took a 32 oz growler home for $12!
