Meh. There's nothing going on here; much like the New Zealand Double Pale. Decent base, but no hop tones that are noticeable or interesting. Bland and uninspiring. Seems like an English pale ale that has no hop character boisterously showing through. I like a little more, or a whole lot more, punch in my beer. This one is a dud.
