Classic pour, not a "haze bomb" on the eyes. As with lots of BG beers the nose is a bit muted, but you get some earthy hops & a very mild wheat spice. Taste is good, mosaic is admittedly not my favorite hop - a little too grassy - and I sense that here but it is handled well. Doesn't jump off the page like some of BG's best but still good.

Simply an outstanding Pale Ale. It seems that the signature Mosaic hop flavor takes center stage with this beer. Very mellow, sweet marsh mellow, citrus, hint of blueberry, meddles with green resinous hop matter. Again a theme with these Brew Gentlemen beers, nothing is harsh or sharp, it all just floats on your taste buds thanks to the perfect malt bill. These guys are killing it!

Growler filled 4 days ago

Pours a nice creamy foamy bubbly 1 finger head that fades semi slowly, nice sticky lacing, murky nectar yellow-orange color

Nose lots of citrus, tangerine, mango puree, generic tropical with dankness, a bit of cracker sweet malt, and a little dank armpit onion as it warms

Taste brings creamy malts, fruity esters as well, banana, tropical papaya guava citrus orange tangerine and mango, all blended to a nice fruit juice, creamy wheat/oat base, soft juicy fruits, a bit of a candy citrus note. Drier finish, lingering juicy fruits, maybe a touch of pine late.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, soft creamy juicy feel, fluffy carb

So this is mixed for sure, some great characters, flavor profile was great, aromas started nice but then got some dank armpit and onion unfortunately, thankfully that was not present on the taste.

750ml swingtop growler into a snifter appears a cloudy pale yellow with a white cap that fades leaving spotty lace.

The aroma is tropical fruits and a touch of herbal appeal before straw-like grain character across the back.

The taste is sweet grain meets citrus and tropical hop juiciness with some bitter pith in the aftertaste.

This is medium in body with modest carbonation. Overall a very tasty and enjoyable pale that I would certainly drink again. This growler disappeared too quickly.

Got to try this while I was in Pittsburgh recently, The beer poured out as a slightly hazed golden color with a nice white head on top. The smell of the beer is very nicely hopped. The taste of the beer is also very nice, lots of citrus flavors with a good bitterness as well. The feel of the beer is lighter bodied, very sessionable. Overall it's a very good beer.

Had this at the brewery and really dug it. The hops are first and foremost the star of the show. They come out and hit you in the face and linger. The malt bill is soft and not too watery. It is a good beer that I would love to have after I come home from work. Good work!

Growler purchased today at the brewery being drank out of a Brew Gentlemen pint glass:

Look: Pours an amazing hazy golden to light orange color. Head is about an inch thick and great lacing and lacing retention!

Smell: Very citrus forward aroma with notes of pine as well! Maybe a bit of onion aroma as well.

Taste: Taste follows the nose for me! Nice and citrusy and tropical! Maybe a small note of malt backbone as well as a hint of onion. This is a nice juicy pale!

Feel: Medium bodied. Nice juicy soft pale!

Overall: This is one of the best pales that I have ever had. These guys continue to knock it out of the park with their pales and IPAs. Glad I finally decided to get a growler of this one!

Cloudy but vibrant apricot-yellow with a moderate, white frothy head and soft flame-like lace.

This smells like a Tree House IPA. Some spicy yeast and green pine, onion, pineapple, peach, cream soda, and orange creamsicle.

Taste is green pine, lemon and orange creamsicle, pineapple, mango, and some toasted cracker. The second pour I had of this beer in June 2017 exhibited some butter pie crust elements, may have been a little off its game but it was still really enjoyable.

Feel is light bodied, almost watery, a little tingly, lightly bitter, with a semi-dry touch right at the very end.

One of the best pale ales I've ever had. Ranks up there with the best from Maine Brewing and Tree House. Massively hoppy in terms of the tropical fruit notes and yet really not bitter at all. Abundant peach, orange, and melon, with some passionfruit in there as well. Malta are on the grassy side of things, fairly light at that. Pretty high on the haze factor but I love that in pales and IPAs. So delicious and easy to drink that my wife who really doesn't like any sort of bitter hop notes was happy to get half a glass. That's all I was willing to part ways with from the lone 750ml swingtop I was lucky enough to acquire. Strikes a nice balance in the mouthfeel between crisp and soft. It's a gentle ride but the beginning of the swallow does let you feel the carbonation. I was sad when I reached the bottom of the bottle. Outstanding.

Poured from a 750ml growler to an IPA glass. Hazy gold with a thin foamy white head that recedes to a thin cap with minimal lacing.

Nose is all mosaic - bit of onion note but tropical grassy hoppy goodness.

Flavor follows - great mosaic profile. It's a slightly lower abv than I'd expect for this level of juicy hop going on. Bright, fresh and juicy. Delicious.

Feel is great - nice smooth silky mouthfeel. Nice drying bitter from the hop with a bit of sweet lingering. It is a touch thin but overall nice full mouthfeel, no rough edges. Really nice single hop IPA - would definitely have this again.

Unfiltered, yellow with white head, super fresh from the growler from the brewery. Sweet tropical fruit from the hops. Being < 6% abv, easy to drink. I found myself going back to the growler often for refills.

On tap at BG. Pours a hazy orange with a greenish brown tinge to it. Could definitely be more appealing but doesn’t bother me much. Aromas of papaya, urine, maybe a hint of juicy fruit gum. Taste is medium to light bitterness. Slight sweetness at the finish. Picking up a tad bit of grain in the flavor. Medium to low carbonation. Really delicious.

This a great juicy, hazy APA that really showcases the Mosaic hops. You get a lot of those tropical notes in the nose. Like said very easy to drink and goes down smooth. I think it would hold up against most single hopped APA's out there.

Hazy Orange color with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and buttery hops. Pillowy mouthfeel, and the taste follows the nose pretty closely.

The only thing that makes Hill Farmstead pales rate higher than this is name recognition. Brew Gentlemen is knocking these hop forward beers out of the park!

Hazy pale golden. Thcik head dissipated quickl with some ringed lacing. Very hoppy. Tasty earthy malts. Somewhat sweet. Carbonated front with a smooth finish. Great beer overall. Really impressed with the color. Reminds me of something from trilium. Getting some to go.
