It’s been a minute since I’ve had anything from Brew Gentlemen, but I’ve had some truly fantastic NEIPAs from them. I’ve also had some that are rather average, so I’m hoping this one is the former. Let’s crack it open and find out
Pours a hazy orange gold with 2 fingers of dense off white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves patchy lacing
The nose is bright and fruity but still suggests a firm bitterness. I’m picking up on aromas of papaya, pithy grapefruit, bready malt, pineapple juice, grassy hops, lemon zest, light weed, and white pepper
It’s just a touch bland in taste. Not bad by any means but just not that exciting. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange zest, pithy grapefruit, weedy hops, lemon zest, bready malt, light white pepper, and guava. The swallow brings notes of bready malt, orange zest, weedy hops, white pepper, papaya, light grapefruit, and grass
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth beer. Finishes slightly dry and bitter
This one is definitely a bit past its prime but that’s on me. Still a pretty damn good beer regardless

Pours pale orange yellow. Light fluffy head and lacing. Citrusy scents-orange, lemon, a mild white grape note, just a touch of a dankness. Taste follows similar notes-reminds me of “classic” IPAs I had when I first started in craft beer ten years ago. Lighter to medium bodied, clean, crisp, mouth watering, subtle alcohol.
