A really well made and flavorful classic Kolsch.

Poured from the can into a stange glass.
Deep gold body color, with a touch of haze, and some brown edged highlights. Some fine rising carbonation also though the body. Solid three to two finger head developing off the pour, bleach bright white and slightly soapy.
Grainy malts on the nose, a little bit pasty lager like smelling, with a notes of small caramel sweetness. Doesn't come off smelling like a simple kolsch, but doesn't come off bad either. Touches a little bit of tea like sweetness also on the hop angle.
Palate seems to go in an odd direction. Touches of slightly watery caramel, and almost a banana like ester. The beer seems to have more dark touching malts coming off more like a Vienna lager. Pasty yeast finish, mixing in with hefeweizen like yeast profile. There's a very long lingering pine bitterness that gets a bit distracting.
An ok brew, but doesn't come off like a kolsch, and has some odd mish mash of yeast malt and hop profiles that take the beer in other places.

On tap at brewery, review 7/2017:
Pours yellowish, perhaps aided by a haze, with a few splashes of amber. Head is thin, but sustaining thick collar, fine lacing.
Nose is a mix of cracker and biscuit, combined with a lightly fruity floral note.
Taste meets the expectations of the nose, then gets a little wine grape before a decent dryness starts to grab hold. A grassy (to lightly herbal) bitterness exists and grows a tad as the beer warms, but the drying factor seems to have a life of its own.
Nice, slightly prickly carbonation keeps this beer in the quite enjoyable state. I actually thought this review would drop this a little, but I actually upped my rating a notch.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
