5 oz pour on tap at the brewery. This is a slightly spicy saison with some floral and wheaty elements. The barrel aging adds some oak and white wine character.

Pours a reddish golden color with a thin white head.
Smell is mainly oak with some tart red berries.
Taste follows suit, a little tart cherry, some woody oak. Decent tartness. Almost tastes like infection is just beginning.
Mouthfeel leaves all little something to be desired (a theme across all their beers). Needs a touch more carbonation, feels a bit slick and oily.
Overall, shows signs of promise. Would love to have a little less oak influence and more base saison flavor.
