In the Welcome Flight at taproom. Straight up kolsch. As usual to me, earthy body is not quuite as crushable as pilsner. But would enjoy in Germany.

On-tap 3/16/2016 at Flynn’s in Mansfield, MA, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains light caramelized malts, grain and some hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and malts. Then some breadiness quickly follows from a hearty but not too heavy malt character. The hops presence is strong for the style and provides a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a long time.
