Served in snifter glass.
Black as night with an an off white head.
Taste and aroma have strong roasted notes, dark coffee and malt. This stout features heavily roasted malt and the roast flavor dominates the profile. Beer feels malty and heavy with slight bitterness in the finish.
I wish I could come up with more adjectives for the flavor profile, but this isn't a profoundly complex beer just a very solid stout that fits the style nearly perfectly. It's a great beer to relax with on a cold night.
