L -- Somewhat turbid orange body with a one-finger white head produced with aerated pour. Some retention and lacing
S -- Although mild, the aromas that are present are very pleasant: pineapple, mango, papaya, and a little yeasty funkiness in the back
T -- Pineapple, candied grapefruit, orange flesh, spicy yeastiness, biscuit malts, melon, and a hint of grassy earthiness
F -- Very low bitterness. Semi-dry with an astringent finish. Medium carb, medium- mouthfeel. Quite refreshing on a hot day
O -- Based on prior reviews (and my own experience with Galaxy-hopped beers), freshness is very important in this brew. When fresh, tastes like a slightly less pungent version of Trillium's Galaxy Dry Hopped Fort Point. A little confused by the 'Imperial Session Ale' marketing tag..... so you mean an American Pale Ale??

Picked up at Julio's.
A - Poured into a Duvel tulip a nice crystal clear golden hue with a one finger white head that faded to leave a thin blanket and a creamy halo.
S - Aromas of light malts, nice passion fruit notes, little bit of crackery grains, little bit of mustiness. Not much else going on.
T - Taste is similar to the nose just much, much weaker. There is a fair amount of crackers and lightly sweet malts. The hops are rather subtle, the passionfruit is faint too. Some faint generic sweet fruits on the finish.
M - Mouthfeel is rather thin and watery, lowly carbonated.
O - Overall this was an incredibly disappointing beer. You see galaxy hops and think 'well how could this be bad?'...well, Aeronaut found a way. Incredibly unfortunate.

16 oz. can dated 10/27/2016
Pours slightly foggy gold with a creamy frothy white foam head. Smells like sweet tropical fruit, peach, pineapple, mango, passionfruit, overripe melon, ripe banana, bready honey caramel malt, with dank earthy herbal grass and bitter floral resinous pine. Tastes like tropical fruit, passionfruit, peach, pineapple, mango, melons, banana, bready honey caramel malts, with dank earthy herbal grass and bitter floral resinous pine. Feels medium-light bodied, creamy and slick with moderate low carbonation. Overall a nice imperial india session ale.

Golden yellow in color. Hazy. Touted as an Imperial India Session Ale. It's smooth. Kind if weird. Lots of melon. Some citrus. Low bitterness. Somewhat sweet malt backbone, but it's not to flabby. Wouldn't say it's bursting with flavor. Lighter bodied. Pretty good.
