Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazed orange-yellow color with a big head of puffy white foam. The head has a excellent level of retention, fading very slowly and leaving tons of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a tropical fruit and citrus aroma of mango, pineapple, papaya, tangerine and orange. Along with these comes other fruit aromas of peach and apricot and a bit of strawberry. Rounding it all out are notes of a biscuit and doughy malt along with notes of pepper and some floral aromas.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice bready and biscuit malt base matched with flavors of tangerine, mango, papaya, apricot and peach. The fruit is not as intense as the nose would let on, but certainly does let itself be well known. At the same time there is a decent showing of grapefruit and earthy hop flavors, along with just a touch of yeast and oat. As the taste advances the fruit gets a bit stronger at the expense of some of the malt, all while more hop grows in as well, leaving one with a juicy but rather balanced taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is medium to thicker in nature with a moderate carbonation level. For the flavors and the style, the feel is great and makes for a very nice sipper.
Overall – A rather big flavored, but still very approachable and more balanced imperial NEIPA. Certainly, one to try if the opportunity arises.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange juice color with a thin head that leaves clumps of lacing

Smell: Tropical fruit aromatics of pineapple and papaya along with dank tangerine

Taste: Sweet tropical fruit flavors forward with hints of toffee; the bitterness builds, in the middle, with dank tangerine flavors that carry into the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation

Overall: This is a fine NE DIPA that brings the tropical fruit as well as some good bitterness

Darker gold and cloudy. Modest head--after the initial ring of lace there's a smattering of spots.

Interesting subdued darker malt presence. A bit earthy. Very mild nose.

Despite the color, this beer tastes darker with a bit light wheat bread. The fresh tilled soil is also here. Full bodied with ample carbonation. Not as bitter as most DIPAs, shorter aftertaste.

Hazy and nearly opaque, allowing only silhouette and shadow to penetrate, but no significant particulate or floaties. Good head production; OK retention and lacing.

Very juicy nose, with a slight preference for tropical fruit hop expression over citrus, along with a light and bright green herbal note. Slightly sweet with touches of cream and honey. Just a hint of caramel from the otherwise undetectable malt base. Pineapple, mango, orange, vanilla, grass.

Fairly light on the palate for a hazy IIPA, if not quite watery. Lively bite; very smooth with high drinkability.

The lightness matches the almost non-existent malt contribution, which is limited to pale biscuit, cracker, and pale grains. Consequently, the juicy hop notes lose impact; there's no sweetness to really round out the profile, but at the same time, it's not a particularly bitter beer. Tasting notes include lemon, papaya, pineapple, blueberry, grass, orange, slight citrus peel, and a very mild dankness.

Pours a hazy light orange with a short lived head and some lacing.

A just opened can smells of piney hops. Once in the glass this smells primarily of citrus.

Just poured it tastes mildly hoppy. As the glass warmed it became more citrusy with a mildly bitter alcohol warm finish.

Medium body and carbonation. Slightly lush mouthfeel.

This is a very pleasant, mild mannered, nuanced, drinkable beer. For me this was a nice introduction to another local Boston area brewery.

A can from 11/20/20. Opened and reviewed on: 12/15/20

Thick and creamy golden liquid. White haze within and sticky white foam cover and lace.

The sweet and tropical fruit punch style hop aroma is fairly bold. Creamy malted grains is interesting, as it reminds me of a much more aromatic cream ale.

The hop layers have a complex fruity sweetness that mutates with every sip. The malt flavor is like a richer cream ale with a soft edges and a hefty body. Peaches and cream, strawberry shortcake and earthy tones round it out nicely.

A very soft and smooth mouthfeel is toward the high end of the New England style spectrum.

This thing is pretty luxurious in many ways, way too easy drink for 8.4%abv.
