An “antipodal IPA with hops from two hemispheres: Australian Galaxy and Columbus.
The question is whether these two hops work well together in a brew.
Light pineapple color with a 3F head.
The aroma isn’t strong- lightly fragrant with some tropical fruit.
The strong hoppy character of the beer overshadows the taste- clean tropical fruit with some pine.
Excellent beer- not my favorite approach to the style.

A- Tallboy into a chalice with a hazy and floury golden orange body and a one finger creamy cap. The head retention is pretty good and lacing forms with large, thin sheets of foam.
S- Bright and fruity even from a few feet away while pouring, got some strength on this one. That great mix of dank weed and tropical, juicy fruit nectar off the top. Melon, mango, papaya, tangerine, peach, guava and just about everything tropical. A hint of orange juice and citrus as well as sweetness.
T- Becomes somewhat grassy atop of the intense dank and herbal hop profile that shifts a bit from the straight juice to a more balanced and somewhat astringent flavor. Bold and bitter grapefruit, orange juice, papaya, guava, melon, bubble gum, dank weed, slight peach, mango and floral hops. A hint of powdery bitter but never reaches that fully. Medium sweetness but a nice bitterness to balance that out. Hints of cereal grains.
MF- A medium bodied brew with a texture that is right between foamy and creamy and it sits on the palate nicely. A high end of carbonation and it ends with a moderate bitterness.
A really nice brew and no surprise considering who made it. Not as astringent as some recent IPAs out of NE and it balances tropical fruit, intense dankness and citrus.

16 oz can into Chalice. Dated 7/3/19.
Look is nice hazy golden with orange tint. Smell is tropical fruit and citrus. Taste follows nose and ends with a nice grapefruit bite. Feel is medium and creamy. Overall, a very good NE IPA that blends the hops well.

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was an opaque hazy burnt orange color topped by a small cap of a little white foamy head sliding off fairly quick. Little bit of concave lace sliding with the sips.
The aroma had a very nice sweet pineapple to tangerine to sweet pine.
The flavor blended all of those prior mentioned aromas together sweetly and added a touch of bitterness for balance. Some juicy tangerine and pine in the aftertaste. The
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt good for a New England styled DIPA. ABV felt as projected. Touch of dry "hop heat" on the back end but not as bad as some others of this style. Balanced bitter to juicy finish.
Overall, very nicely done New England styled DIPA well worthy of having again.
