Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass. Canned yesterday, so super fresh. Opaque tan-yellow color with fluffy white head that slowly dissipated. Some minimal lacing. Huge tropical fruit punch on the nose. Big flavors on this one: guava, mango, pineapple to start and pine. Dankess, depending on the sip, too. Thick, chewy, oily mouthfeel that leaves lingering hop bitterness (but not overpowering) on the palate. I always try to pick up the Dr. Nandu series each year and this one does not disappoint. Big, bold flavors and a very indulgent DIPA at 9%, although it’s so smooth and flavorful, the ABV is barely noticeable. One that Aeronaut fans should definitely check out.
