Listed as an Imperial Stout with lactose. Deep dark brown where no light passes through the edge. Moderate beige head which leaves plenty of streaks on the glass.
Lightly sweet cocoa aroma. A touch of alcohol.
Chewy body with plenty of carbonation. There's an unexpected sweet flavor with some vanilla balancing the chocolate. Cinnamon? Complex but it has no coffee elements. Think dessert bread. Definitive bittering hop shows up lightly in the swallow creating a balanced, lingering aftertaste.
