Poured from a can into at glass
Appearance – The beer pours a moderately hazy orange amber color with a one finger head of puffy foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time and leaving a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a tangerine and orange smell mixed with notes of cracker malt and some grain. Along with these aromas comes some peach and apricot as well as a little bit of grapefruit and herb.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice crisp cracker malt flavor paired with a decent showing of tangerine and orange as well as a bit of apricot. There is a large showing of grapefruit upfront as well, with it growing even stronger as the taste advances forward. At the same time there are notes of a light herbal hop and some pine. Toward the end, the sweetness fades a touch, leaving a nice crisp and moderately citrusy and hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light with a higher carbonation level. Great for the style and the tastes with an easy drinking nature.
Overall – A great easy drinking brew with a good crisp and clean taste.
