Hazy, bright gold color. Lasting rim bubbles with a near blanket of lace on the far side of the glass.
Earthy aroma. I'm picking up strong wheat but little banana or clove. Also I'm not smelling any Belgian yeast. Seems closer to the American style than Belgian.
The taste brings forward a much stronger clove (and black pepper) flavor. Banana shows up in the aftertaste. Wheaty throughout the tasting but still shy of the typical Belgian flavors. Neutral body and carbonation.
