Pours cloudy gold with a righteous dollop of foam on top. Foam really hangs around, eventually forming a nice cap that lasts.
Full strength aroma that features rounded and sharp tart notes, some doughy sweet in there too, spicy notes are hard to identify but are similar to cinnamon and white pepper. As it warms I get an overripe peach note too.
Not as tart as expected, but there are definitely some complex degrees of tartness in this full flavored baby. The spice notes are much less cinnamon, much more cloves, pepper and earth. Really tasty malt that is very well atenuated but still packs some sweet and doughy notes that work perfectly. Delicious.
Med. carb., med. bodied, drinks very easy, quite f=refreshing, excellent finish, clean flavor presentation, supe rclean linger. This is how a saison mouthfeel is supposed to be.
