Crisp, clean, and refreshing. A golden colored, bottom fermented lager beer that is light in body with a slightly malty, grainy aroma. The high attenuation during fermentation leads to a crisp, dry finish. This beer showcases the finest quality malts and hops imported from Germany.

Hops: GR Magnum, GR Perle, GR Saaz
IBU: 28

Look: Light, clear yellow with a generous white head.
Smell: An aroma of sweet malt is present.
Taste: A solid maltiness composes the flavor.
Feel: Very good. High in the mouth. Finishes a little on the dry side.
Overall: A pretty well-rounded Pilsner. I would definitely recommend.

pint cans make good sense for this ripper, a really nice take on this style with some decidedly european charm about it, majorly drinkable, love the grain flavor with such a light body, nice balance, zesty carbonation, this really is extremely well composed. super blonde and shiny, immaculately clear, and i love the nucleation on the proper pils glassware they serve it in at the brewery, looks splendid with more than an inch of wispy white head, really a stunning specimen. the aroma on this is subtle, noble hops meet fresh and clean european pils malt, good water chemistry is on point, its got some apparent bitterness, and its tight and tidy, ever so slightly doughy on the yeast side, but this aspect is mellow while the beer is at its coldest. the first sip is crisp and fast, and i really dont taste a lot of this until the second or third pull, a nice white bread and plain bagel thing to the malt, minerality is on point for this, drying, dry in the middle and at the end, an herbal thing to the hops, middle of the roast bitterness but it hits all at once, and the hops seem fresh but also rightly old worldy. the yeast does its thing, a proper long and cold lagering seems obvious here, and this has been awesomely cleaned up in filtration, is just sparkles in the glass and is instant here and gone on the palate, love how refreshing this is. light but full of character, hard to do, and the effervescence is awesome. a top tier craft pils here, and technically speaking definitely the best of the pigeon head beers we had while in reno. this would play well just about anywhere, incredibly well refined.

Kinda surprised that i haven't reviewed this local beer given that I've had it over a dozen times. Its their flagship essentially, if not literally.

Pours pretty, has all the golden clarity and lush full inch of pristine white head. Its not bierstadt level pretty, but it ain't far off from that perfection either. Aroma of mostly non descript grain, not really a pushy pilsner yeast, which I do dig on. Hops are within style, but not very aromatic (same). Saaz hops used in the minimalistic style appropriate way, I'd be lying if I didn't say I preferred a little more (see IPL).

They price these pretty nice at only $2 a can, that helps the overall score.

Taste is crisp, more of the lager flavor from the yeast going on than in the nose. Mouth feel, like I said, overused word "crisp" is applicable. Light, barley metallic hop bitterness. Pilsner malt isn't all that discernable from 2 row. I generally like the IPL better even if score wise it might not be up there, but it costs more and this has the whole bikinis on the river summer jam vibe going for it as well.

On tap at Granite State, everything I would want from a Bohemian pils. Will be enjoying a second w/ my shishito peppers.

Nice light and still had some good flavor from the malt. This beer came out pretty good and is what you would expect a pilsener to taste like the mouth feel seemed just a little off but this beer was done pretty well to style.
