With the arrival of fall comes out favorite beer of the year, Oktoberfest. Brewed with lager yeast, this brew is smooth, clean and has a rich, malty flavor with a moderately dry finish. Prost!

neat looking can, but i did that thing where i dropped it and i didnt realize it more than dented, actually punctured a little bit, but i didnt notice, then some time went by, curiously and surprisingly this was still pretty bubbly when i got it to my glass, holds some head too and looks great, clear and rusty orange until the very bottom when some cloudiness creeps in, but a nicely refined and charged up looking pour. the right kind of nose, mineral driven enough to be slightly metallic, but that could be on me, aluminum with baked bread, more hops than are common in the style, noble and lightly spicy, some toasted depth to it, but not sweet, not in season but still presenting nicely to me, simple but polished. the flavor is good too, baked biscuit, soft pretzel, kilned barley, light brown sugar, and fertile soil, deeply earthy before the metallics and the hops kick up later, a little spice there, a little tin, a little pewter, lead, asphalt, mowed lawn, green onion (in a good way), and an almost rye-like element, quick and clean to finish with a slightly lower ph later, great can conditioned feeling carbonation, brisk even with its subtle imperfections. drinkable and great, warms up well, could pound on these, sorry i blew up the can, but its obvious this is solid even off season, these guys are delivering...
