1st review of this beer on BA. Got it for the first time in the summer of 2017. Its kind of a hybrid west coast/hazy ipa/pale ale. This beer became Swing Shift I believe.
Pours dark gold with a little bit of haze, but not entering into gravy viscosity territory. 1/3" white head. Aroma was hoppy, especially for this brewery that bucks the trend and produces very few hoppy beers. Seemed to be a light amount of Citra and/or Mosaic going on.
Taste was nice as well, good to see these guys starting to go after some of the more commercially viable styles, gotta keep them lights on. Good soft body and relatively light alcohol make this a fun drink, even if its right around what everyone else is doing in craft beer. I could totally see some classic C hops in this too, as there is that sweet citrus and pine notes interplay. I think of this as more of a pale ale, but it was a good one and something their lineup was sorely missing.
