There were at least 2, if not 3 (tri-lab) breweries in the Reno area that went in on this. My cans say Pigeonhead. Pretty sure Imbib had their own too, possibly that Alibi place too, not 100% on that. Anyways, 4 packs were $10 at Craft, easy peezy purchase there. Yes, this beer is worth $2.50/pint. Anyways, just uploaded the beer into the database, and I'll write a review because I'm not a total sociopath just adding the beer and not writing a review. Business ethics, I choose.
Pours yellow, ample clarity, 1/2" white head. The appearance looks solid, pay no attention dirty virgin glass mafia. The aroma hits the traditional bready grain vibe, noble hop vibe etc. . .; They say it has "new school" hops also but I wasn't absorbing them. Came across more traditional than that, still allowed a mild lager presence in the nose.
The taste comes with a balanced approach, grain, yeast are the leaders, the hop bill is in a supporting role at best (appropriately so). Thought there could be a little more levity to it, definitely came with a more dense breadiness than the innocent appearance would suggest. Ample carbonation nonetheless.
Twas a decent summer beer and something for people who don't like their beers hoppy or sour.
