The first thing you notice about this farmhouse saison genre pour is that it is darker than your average SRM for a saison. This one is more fall colored, in line with the name, autumnal and shit. The aroma isn't your typical saison, instead of a dry agricultural vibe, this one puts the maple right in the forefront, and then beyond that you can pull some cinnamon out of it as well. Poetic name aesthetic so meta bro.
Taste isn't dry, its sweet, and there is even a slight bitter twang about it. I'm not getting anything from the yeast. Its completely ruled by its adjuncts. Changes and dominates every aspect of the beer right down to the appearance.
One the one hand, it has a novelty factor, but on the other, it doesn't really speak to me in any way, much less as a saison that seems like the furthest thing from a "saison".
