Got Leid at the 2018 Strange Brew Festival. This one pours a darker copper color with a thin 1/5" white head. The aroma is like those sweet chili packets you get at McDonalds for McNuggets.
Taste is yet another sweet and sour mixture in a wild ale that keeps the sourness way down. I didn't really get the BBQ or coconut out of this one. The sweetness was too distracting and dominating for me to pick up any nuance or saison like aspects of the beer. Maybe the pineapple contributed more sugar, but it didn't really give me anything in the way of flavor. If you like that sweet chili sauce, this beer might be up your alley. For me it was disappointing because UTR makes such a good saison base, but it gets obliterated here.
